It's in the upper 70s in the Tennessee Valley...THAT is NOT normal :/.

It has been in the low 40's here in the Los Angeles area-night temperature-daytime in the low 60's. I have been wearing my Minnesota winter coat when going anywhere at night.Perhaps our cold will move on to the Tennessee Valley?
Wow. I think the most interesting thing about your weather is when the sun rises and sets. My girls get up in the morning when the sun's coming up, but by the time they get on the bus (8:45) it's light out. And they have about half an hour to 45 minutes to play outside if they want to when they get home from school (4:15 ish) before it starts to get dark.
We're just a bit warmer (thanks the Lake Michigan's warming effect) here in Northern Michigan.
Yes, our daylight hours are very short right now, and the sun is always quite low in the sky. Without snow, it could be very gloomy.
