Coming Your Way

I hope you enjoyed the cold weather we sent you from the Yukon last week. This is what comes behind it.

While I walked my dog this afternoon, it was 10º C. (That’s 50º F for the metric impaired.) This is a January thaw that’s almost enough to make up for the month of cold.

Here’s a photo that I should have uploaded and posted last week. This is what it looks like down by the river when it’s -30ºish.

I remember you saying that you hadn't really walked your dog for about a month because of the cold, so when it hit -22 here (with a nasty windchill) I tried not to complain :)

Jodi and I went for a bike ride yesterday afternoon. Which is not completely unusual for us in January what was a little weird was having coffee outside at Starbucks as we took a little break!

No, we didn't really enjoy that frigid Yukon weather last week, thank you very much. Especially not Charlie! But we are looking forward to this new batch of weather from way up north!
