Round the Sphere Again

What’s New?
It’s a group blog at First Things called Evangel. The contributors are an interesting bunch, so the blog should be a good one, especially when the pace slows a bit to something less than a million posts per day. Here’s my recommendation to give you an idea of the high quality posts you’ll find there: The Beautiful Monotony of the Gospel by Jared Wilson.

Stargazing
A look at three pre-reformers who suffered for their stand. (The Upward Call)

And the story of a forgotten reformer: Pierre Viret. (Via threegirldad)

French Twist
Charlie of Another Think recounts the story of his search for his grandfather’s history and makes a point about another historical person.

What Not to Write
Top Ten Ways to Write Bad Worship Songs (Bob Kauflin) You’ll want to read the discussion in the comments, too.

Letter Perfect
Is a picture really is worth a thousand word? You’d better believe it! (BibliOdyssey)

A Month of Cookies
Dorothy of Field Stone Cottage informs us that October is National Cookie Month. What could be more appropriate than celebrating with Pumpkin Cookies!

And when you eat those, you might try Rice Krispies Cookies or Snickerdoodles, two favorites at my house.
