Round the Sphere Again: Colourful

Hue Test
Can you arrange the coloured squares to make a seamless progressions from one end to the other? (x-rite) One in my family found this extremely frustrating and didn’t finish. Me? Once I got going, it was easy-peasy and fast. I ended up getting only 3 wrong, which might explain why choosing my paint colours can be so complicated. Small variations in colour look big to me.

Have I mentioned that I love colour?

If you take the test, let me know how you did.

Update: Sundogs
Here’s a nifty little video explaining how they come to be. (HT: mental_floss Blog)

Well, I got 11 wrong, all in the blue/green range. Apparently I'm color deficient when it comes to blue and green. Good thing I don't mix those colors very much in my house!

I scored a 19 with deficiencies in several color areas. No wonder I have a difficult time selecting colors from paint chips.

Those are pretty good scores, both of them. On the site where I first saw this (which, BTW, I can't remember) most people got 30 or more wrong.

16. And they all looked perfect.

I have heard the term "sun dog" before but have never seen one. Thanks for the fascinating video. Yet another example of God's marvelous creation.

I got 36 and they all looked perfect! :) Guess that kills my dream of being an interior designer.

I have heard the term "sun dog" before but have never seen one.

They are fairly common here and I didn't know that they weren't common everywhere. But I suppose if they need ice crystals in the air, they wouldn't be common everywhere.

I got 33. My eyes are bugging out now. Maybe I should have tried it earlier in the day! Nice to have you back. I LOVED the photo with wedding cake.

I hope to have a photo from the ceremony to post sometime soon.

I got 3 wrong. I got interrupted part way through, and when I came back, I turned off my desk lamp, and it made it much easier. I also worked from the extreme ends and into the centre, and found it easier.

I got a 15. Interesting test. My eyes were going crossed by the end. Thought I would get a bad score as I always thought my colour perception was bad. But I love doing puzzles, so maybe that compensated a bit :-)
