Thankful Thursday

Tonight, as I drive to choir practice, I’ll be thanking God for my winter tires. I’m thankful, too, that I had the means to buy them.

I’m also thankful

  • for this afternoon’s 4 or 5 inches of new snow. If it’s going to be winter, we might as well have enough snow to play in.
  • for my furnace,  and for the oil it burns to keep me warm.
  • for all my winter gear, parka, boots, mitts and tuque.
  • for a warm bed—for my down comforter and wool blanket.
  • for my family nearby, keeping my life full and busy.
  • for projects to work on.
  • that God enlightens his own so they see the truth about him.

What are you thankful for?

Enjoy the snow for us Southerners. :) We've had such topsy-turvy weather here. A hard frost yesterday and 70 degrees by Sunday.

When I'm out shoveling this morning, I'll think of everyone down south suffering with no snow. :)
